Itinerant School Herdeiros do Saber: an analysis on the process of transforming the “School of Teaching” to the “School of Work”

Resumo: ABSTRACT. The article presents a research that has as object of study the Itinerant School Herdeiros do Saber of the Landless Workers Movement, Rio Bonito do Iguaçu, Paraná. The objective of the research was to analyze the process of transforming the pedagogical practices of the “School of teaching” to the “School of work”, from the perspectives of the teachers working in that school. The case study methodology used semi-structured interviews, participant observation and field diary. The research seeks to contribute to the discussions about the school form in the movement of pedagogical transformations of rural schools. The research results show a process of construction of pedagogical practices guided by work as an educational principle, the link between school education and life and the school organization, with different times and spaces. In these areas, the main contradictions present express questions of the centrality of teaching scientific knowledge, of pedagogical and school management practices, of the training of teachers. Finally, it presents some challenges of the school experience analyzed regarding the consolidation of the school's pedagogical proposal, the lack of resources and investment and the political context of the school's social reality.

La metodología de estudio de caso utilizó entrevistas semiestructuradas, observación participante y diario de campo. La investigación busca contribuir con lãs discusiones acerca de la forma escolar en el movimiento de transformaciones pedagógicas de lãs escuelas del campo. Los resultados de la investigación evidencian un proceso de construcción de prácticas pedagógicas guiadas por el trabajo como principio educativo, vínculo de la formación escolar con la vida y la organización escolar con distintos tiempos y espacios. En estos ámbitos, lãs principales contradicciones presentes expresan cuestiones de lacentralidad de la enseñanza de los conocimientos científicos, de lãs prácticas de gestión pedagógica y escolar, de la formación de los (las) profesores(as). Finalmente presenta algunos desafíos de la experiencia escolar analizada encuanto a la consolidación de la propuesta pedagógica de la escuela, la falta de recurso e inversión y al contexto político de la realidad social de la escuela.ABSTRACT. O objetivo da pesquisa foi analisar o processo de transformação das práticas pedagógicas da “Escola do Ensino” para “Escola do Trabalho”, a partir das perspectivas dos(as) professores(as) atuantes nessa escola. A metodologia de estudo de caso utilizou entrevistas semiestruturadas, observação participante e diário de campo. A pesquisa busca contribuir com as discussões acerca da forma escolar no movimento de transformações pedagógicas das escolas do campo. Os resultados da pesquisa evidenciam um processo de construção de práticas pedagógicas orientadas pelo trabalho como princípio educativo, vínculo da formação escolar com a vida e a organização escolar, com diferentes tempos e espaços. Nestes âmbitos, as principais contradições presentes expressam questões da centralidade do ensino dos conhecimentos científicos, das práticas de gestão pedagógica e escolar, da formação dos(as) professores(as). Apresenta, por fim, alguns desafios da experiência escolar analisada quanto à consolidação da proposta pedagógica da escola, à falta de recurso e investimento e ao contexto político da realidade social da escola.
