Resumo: The experiences of labor technostress derived from the compulsory virtuality for prevention of the Covid-19 in a group of university teachers from the city of Medellin are described. For this, the definitions of labor technostress and its relationship with the social psychology of work were addressed, while defense strategies and the processes of adaptation, habituation and familiarization are explained. Finally, the profession and functions of university teachers are specified. Regarding the method, this study was characterized by being qualitative with a descriptive approach. Six semi-structured interviews applied to a group of university professors from the private sector of the city of Medellín were included as the main instrument. Regarding the results, the causes, symptoms, adaptation processes, familiarization, habituation, and defense strategies with which workers reduce occupational technostress were identified. In this sense, the causes of techno-stress can be due to external or internal factors at work, these causes include symptoms, adaptive processes and in other cases it causes discomfort due to the constant or inappropriate use of ICT, to reduce discomfort and techno-stress is used defense strategies, in order to avoid pathologizing in university teachers.

Para esto, se abordaron las definiciones de tecnoestrés laboral y su relación con la psicología social del trabajo, en tanto se explican las estrategias de defensa y los procesos de adaptación, habituación y familiarización. Por último, se precisa la profesión y las funciones de los docentes universitarios. Con relación al método, este estudio se caracterizó por ser cualitativo con enfoque descriptivo, está incluyó como instrumento principal seis entrevistas semiestructuradas aplicadas a un grupo de docentes universitarios del sector privado de la ciudad de Medellín. Respecto a los resultados, se identificaron las causas, síntomas, procesos de adaptación, familiarización, habituación y las estrategias de defensa con la que los trabajadores reducen el tecnoestrés laboral. En ese sentido, las causas de tecnoestrés se pueden dar por factores externos o internos al trabajo, dichas causas incluyen síntomas, procesos adaptativos y en otros casos produce malestar por el uso constante o inadecuado de las TIC, para disminuir el malestar y tecnoestrés se utilizan estrategias de defensa, para así, evitar la patologización en los docentes universitarios.Les expériences de techno-stress dérivées de la virtualité obligatoire pour la prévention du Covid-19 dans un groupe de professeurs. Pour cela, les définitions du techno-stress au travail et sa relation avec la psychologie sociale du travail ont été abordées, tandis que les stratégies de défense et les processus d'adaptation, d'habituation et de familiarisation sont expliqués. Enfin, la profession et les fonctions des professeurs d'université sont précisées. En ce qui concerne la méthode, cette étude a été qualifiée de qualitative avec une approche descriptive. Six entretiens semi-structurés appliqués à un groupe de professeurs d'université du secteur privé de la ville de Medellín ont été inclus comme instrument principal. En ce qui concerne les résultats, les causes, les symptômes, les processus d'adaptation, la familiarisation, l'accoutumance et les stratégies de défense avec lesquelles les travailleurs réduisent le stress technique professionnel ont été identifiés. En ce sens, les causes du techno-stress peuvent être dues à des facteurs externes ou internes au travail, ces causes incluent les symptômes, les processus adaptatifs et dans d'autres cas, cela provoque une gêne due à l'utilisation constante ou inappropriée des TIC, pour réduire l'inconfort et le techno-stress est utilisé stratégies de défense, afin d'éviter la pathologisation des professeurs d'université.São descritas as experiências de tecno-estresse ocupacional derivadas da virtualidade obrigatória para a prevenção do Covid-19 em um grupo de professores universitários da cidade de Medellín. Quanto ao método, este estudo caracterizou-se por ser qualitativo, com abordagem descritiva, sendo incluídas como instrumento principal seis entrevistas semiestruturadas aplicadas a um grupo de professores universitários do setor privado da cidade de Medellín. Quanto aos resultados, foram identificadas as causas, sintomas, processos de adaptação, familiarização, habituação e estratégias de defesa com as quais os trabalhadores reduzem o tecno-estresse ocupacional.
