RESEARCHERS IN PORTUGAL: relations between undergraduate training and the field of research

Resumo: The aim of this study was to understand the relationships established between initial training (first cycle) and research / research, starting with interviews with teachers and managers in Portuguese universities. The perception of the actors about this movement helps us to glimpse constituent elements of the processes involved in the curricular changes. It is concluded that the Bologna Process marked Europe and the world with the robustness of more condensed formative proposals that gave quick responses to the professional demands of society, which caused questions to arise about the scientific maturity of the masters and doctors formed by the unfolding of this process and about the methodological fragility absorbed by first cycle professionals.

La percepción de los actores sobre ese movimiento nos ayuda a vislumbrar elementos constitutivos de los procesos involucrados en los cambios curriculares. Se concluye que el Proceso de Bolonia marcó Europa y el mundo con la robustez de propuestas formativas más condensadas que dieron rápidas respuestas a las demandas profesionales de la sociedad, lo que hizo surgir cuestionamientos sobre la madurez científica de los maestros y doctores formados por el desdoblamiento de este proceso y sobre la fragilidad metodológica absorbida por los profesionales de primer ciclo.A análise efetuada neste trabalho teve como objeto compreender as relações estabelecidas entre formação inicial (primeiro ciclo) e a pesquisa/investigação, partindo de entrevistas com professores e gestores em universidades portuguesas. A percepção dos a(u)tores sobre esse movimento nos ajuda a vislumbrar elementos constitutivos dos processos envolvidos nas mudanças curriculares.
