The practice of writing and rewriting text offers the speaker -author the opportunity to reflect on the language and how to systematize it . The brands of textual reworking show that writing is work and express the author's relationship to language and the language in the knowledge construction process. These marks indicate epilinguísticas operations and metalinguistic revealing certain awareness of the subject, even if fleeting, of your choices. Thus, our goal in this work is to show the main language transactions in rewriting texts produced by a group of 22 students from 8th grade (current 9th grade ) of elementary school as a result of application of a didactic sequence of the genre article opinion that called for producing a text of this kind from the theme "Television in people's lives”. The work is guided, theoretically, in the educational forwarding of didactic sequence (SD) proposed by Dolz , Noverraz and Schneuwly (2004 ), in writing conceptions, addressed by Fiad & Mayrink - Sabinson (1991) , Antunes (2003) and Costa-Hübes (2009) and the rewrite operations postulated by Fiad (1991) , Menegassi (2001) and Large ( 2006). The results show that the main linguistic operations mobilized, by students, in textual rewriting are deletion, substitution, paraphrase, addition and displacement and that the practice of textual rewriting offers speaker-author the opportunity to reflect on the language and how to systematize it.
