Resumo: In this article, using a case study from reports delivered by a teacher of the Secondary School, we aimed, through the Functional System Theory perspective (HALLIDAY; MATTHIESSEN, 2004), to peer nuances of the new teacher identity in the context of integration of digital technologies in the classroom, considering the positioning of the teacher about their own identity and their reflective attitude towards their practice. The search results give a glimpse of the incompleteness of the identification process in late modernity and indicates the formation of a professional identity under construction.

The search results give a glimpse of the incompleteness of the identification process in late modernity and indicates the formation of a professional identity under construction.Neste artigo, por meio de um estudo de caso a partir de relatos proferidos por uma professora do Ensino Básico, objetivamos, à luz da perspectiva da Teoria Sistêmico Funcional (HALLIDAY; MATTHIESSEN, 2004), perscrutar nuanças da nova identidade docente no contexto de inserção das tecnologias digitais na sala de aula, considerando o posicionamento da professora acerca da sua própria identificação e sua atitude reflexiva em relação a sua prática pedagógica. O resultado da pesquisa permite vislumbrar o processo de incompletude da identificação na modernidade tardia e indica a constituição de uma identidade docente em formação.
