The use of the Pixton platform for collaborative written production in English

Resumo: | In the search for alternatives that could soften the negative effects of the pandemic and ensure interaction between students, we found the Pixton platform which has several resources for the production of comics. Thus, in 2021, students from a public institution collaboratively dedicated themselves to writing comics in English on this platform. This qualitative case study aimed to investigate the perceptions of learners about this platform and its possible potentialities for learning English. The data generated through observation, field notes, questionnaires, and tasks indicate that this digital tool can stimulate learners’ creativity and autonomy besides providing inclusive and collaborative learning contexts. |

Assim, em 2021, alunos de uma instituição pública se dedicaram a escrever colaborativamente histórias em quadrinhos em língua inglesa nessa plataforma. Este estudo de caso qualitativo objetivou investigar as percepções dos aprendizes acerca dessa plataforma e suas possíveis potencialidades para aprendizagem de inglês.
