Resumo: | This article discusses the relationship of opposition between cover and discovery from the perspective of Antoine Culioli 's theory of Enunciative Operations, within a line of investigation that considers that the senses of the lexical or morfolexical units are constructed and not previously established. Although our study involves the prefixes whose tradition judges that they have ready senses coming from other languages, we understand that such units go through the same criteria of construction of sense of the units considered simple. For this we analyze the factors that propitiate or prevent the opposition of these units, considering the characteristics of the base and the prefix in question, in addition to other factors that interfere in the construction of a unit sense. We note that there is an oppositional relationship between cover and discovery, however, the operating parameters for the emergence of this opposition are specific and insightful, in order to restrict a single sense that accepts such opposition. In this way, we were able to confirm that units as des- do not only carry out an opposition when they are associated to the base and that the senses of their occurrences are constructed in the textual environment in which they occur. |
