Error analysis in the written production of PL2 students: a sociocultural approach

Resumo: This study analyzed errors in texts written by foreign students in the process of learning the Portuguese Language, enrolled in Portuguese for Foreigners course of the Universidade Federal da Bahia, aiming to highlight, classify and analyze the occurrences in the text of each student. For the research, the texts of the informants were used in addition to observation of classes and interviews. This work seeks to identify which linguistic and extralinguistic factors influence the subjects' errors and how this information can contribute to teaching / learning studies of Portuguese as a second language. For the theoretical support of the work and analysis of the data were summoned concepts that guide the sociocultural studies, with special emphasis for those that focus the learning of foreign language. According to the results, the factor that exerts the greatest influence on writing failures is the students' mother tongue.

Para a pesquisa, foram utilizados os textos dos informantes além de observação de aulas e entrevistas. Este trabalho busca identificar quais fatores linguísticos e extralinguísticos influenciam nos erros dos sujeitos e de que forma essa informação pode contribuir para os estudos de ensino/aprendizagem de português como segunda língua. Para sustentação teórica do trabalho e análise dos dados foram convocados conceitos que norteiam os estudos socioculturais, com destaque especial para aqueles que põem em foco o aprendizado de língua estrangeira.
