The right of choice with the participation of every citizen in social life is the result of movements, which sometimes have something to do with resistance. These are movements of reaction, which arise from restrictive policies to a fair and egalitarian society. Within these experiences, the possibilities of educational actions of processes of democratization are constituted. As social processes, these movements establish real possibilities for participation, creativity and protagonism by themselves. In the text, it is proposed to reflect, especially, on a popular education and its relationship with democracy, from these movements as political experiences of education. It seeks to glimpse many possible alternatives of action to social movements, active and resistant to the interests of capital projects, based on popular education. From this, we envisage the possibility of inserting and integrating news educational/social practices which dare to be democratic in their own conception, since there is a need to deepen experiences that face resistance in order to improve the representative social processes and also the popular participation.
