Resumo: | Popular education, as practiced and studied today, encompasses a wide range of educational modalities, which reveals the importance of education in society and the permanent need for discussion, research and promotion of this social policy. This research aims to analyze studies on educators who contribute to popular pre-university courses and their training processes. This is a state of knowledge study in which the thesis and dissertations produced between the years 2010 and 2020 were researched in the IBICT repository, using the descriptors “popular education”, “popular pre-university course” and “popular university entrance exams”. Eight dissertations were selected, having as criteria the indication in the title and/or in the abstract that the research addresses the analysis of pedagogical practices, the representation of themselves as volunteer educators and the educators' perceptions about their training process. The process of training educators was considered in the sense that many are university students and use the universe of popular education within the context of popular pre-university courses for their first professional pedagogical practices. As a result, there is a gap in the strengthening of exchanges of experiences and reflections between educators about how popular education, as a movement of transformation and emancipation, is perceived by these subjects who work on the content based on the exams of the largest universities in the country. |
