Countryside education and the access to the superior education: current contexts challenges

Resumo: | This academic work talks about countryside education, in a specific way, it talks about politics and programs directed to the training in superior education for teachers of the countryside. Then, rises the question from movements occurred in the society, highlighting fights of popular movements on the conquests of thiseducation modality, its specificities and tension, in the last twenty years. Methodologically this text starts from the countryside education’s theoretical studies and the authors’ direct insertion in this modality of education in the Universities, with a development of participant researches. It highlights that is needed fights for the public policies, as well as programs and agreements between the State and the Superior education Institutes aiming to don’t recede or stagnate completely in the current situation. Besides this, it shows that the countryside education has been a challenge for the professionals who operate in the rural zone, for the popular movements, labor unions and for the universities which perform teacher capacitation. |

Este texto trata da Educação do Campo, de maneira específica, de políticas e programas voltados à educação superior para as populações do campo, realçando a formação de professores/as do campo. Coloca-se a questão a partir de movimentos ocorridos na sociedade, destacando as lutas de movimentos populares frente à conquista dessa modalidade de educação, suas especificidades e tensões nos últimos vinte anos. Metodologicamente, parte-se de estudos teóricos da Educação do Campo e da inserção direta das autoras nessa modalidade de educação em Universidades, com o desenvolvimento de pesquisas participantes. Destaca-se que é preciso lutar pelas políticas públicas, bem como, programas e convênios entre Estado e Instituições de Ensino Superior em vista de não retroceder ou estagnar completamente na conjuntura atual.
