STORY TELLERS IN SCHOOL EDUCATION: teacher and student perspectives

Through the articulation of concepts about Culture, Education, Art, School Teaching and others, this article addresses storytelling from the perspective of teachers and students, proposing experiences of Art education. The problem that guides our discussion is, on the one hand, the need for methodologies open to dialogue with students and, on the other hand, the need to value art in school, including the experience of other teachers. The objective is to show an arts education that values ​​student listening, while teachers exercise the development of “their” narrator, proposing and living experiences of listening and telling stories. The ludic experience is appreciated and suggested through theatrical and/or dramatic games, to understand the elements of scenic language. The central point of the research is the notion of culture and how this is part of a humanizing and transforming formation for a fairer society.
