The place of affirmative action policy in the construction of a new black-African representation regime in Brazil

Resumo: The process of implementing affirmative actions in Brazil coincides with the democratization of society, through continuous demand actions of organized social movements, with the expansion and reflections that are guided by the theses of subaltern, post-colonial, cultural and diasporic studies with a noticeable transformation in the way the country represents itself, causing profound dissonances in the way in which different segments and sectors (communication, education) maintain or update their vision and reading about the country. The essay considers higher education as the place where disputes have been taking place around a new representation regime that incorporates the black-African experience and struggles towards a new imagined community.

L'essai considère l'enseignement supérieur comme le lieu où des conflits ont eu lieu autour d'un nouveau régime de représentation qui intègre l'expérience et les luttes noires-africaines vers une nouvelle communauté imaginée.O processo de implementação das ações afirmativas no Brasil coincide com a democratização da sociedade, por meio de ações reivindicativas continuas dos movimentos sociais organizados, com a expansão e ampliação de reflexões que se orientam pelas teses dos estudos subalternos, pós-coloniais, culturais e diaspóricos com uma perceptível transformação na forma como o pais se auto representa provocando profundas dissonâncias na maneira como distintos segmentos e setores (comunicação, educação) conservam ou atualizam sua visão e leitura sobre o país.
