Resumo: The theme of this article deals with the management processes of a school for youth people and adult, starting from the problem of the relationship between the role of the manager and the quality of education developed at the SENAC-Bahia, with the main objective of understand educational management and its relationship with the adopted educational model, in addition to identifying the relevant management processes that contribute to an effective education and to raise the main elements of the pedagogical proposal. Through a qualitative approach, it uses collaborative research as a strategic device. The main results are: the pedagogical model proposes that professional education should contribute to the development of subjects as professionals and citizens; managers believe in the importance of their role for this purpose.

Grâce à une approche qualitative, il utilise la recherche collaborative comme un dispositif stratégique. Les principaux résultats sont les suivants: le modèle pédagogique propose que la formation professionnelle favorise le développement des individus en tant que professionnels et citoyens; les gestionnaires croient en l'importance de leur rôle à cette fin.A temática deste artigo trata dos processos de gestão de uma escola de educação de jovens e adultos, partindo do problema da relação entre o papel do gestor e a qualidade da formação desenvolvida no SENAC-Bahia, com o objetivo principal de compreender a gestão educacional e sua relação com o modelo educacional adotado, além de identificar os processos relevantes da gestão que contribuem para uma educação efetiva e levantar os principais elementos da proposta pedagógica. Através de uma abordagem qualitativa, utiliza como dispositivo estratégico a pesquisa colaborativa.
