The absence or presence of Distance Education in contemporary public policies for the initial training of Basic Education teachers

Resumo: This article analyzes relevant aspects to the understanding of the presence or absence of Distance Education in current public policies in the contemporary world. The focus of this study includes from the National Conference on Education - 2010 to the National Curriculum Guidelines for the training of Basic Education teachers - 2019. As methodological procedure, we adopted the documentary analysis of legal texts and dialogues with Dourado, Barreto, Mill and Minto for considerations on the distance education movement in teacher training. We concluded that despite resistance and mobilizations for the demarcation and implementation of distance education in higher education courses, the specificities of this study mode are not effectively present in public policies for initial teacher training.

Pour cette étude, nous avons choisi des documents qui comprend de la Conference Nationale d'Enseignement de 2010 à la publication des Directives Curriculaires Nationales de 2019. Comme procédure, l'analyse documentaire des textes juridiques et nous avons dialogué avec Dourado, Barreto, Mill et Minto pour analyser le mouvement EaD dans la formation des enseignants. En ce sens, il est souligné que, malgré la résistance et les mobilisations pour la démarcation et implémentation de l'EaD au enseignement supérieur, les spécificités de la modalité ne sont pas effectivement présentes dans les politiques publiques de formation initiale des enseignants.Este artigo analisa aspectos relevantes para a compreensão da presença ou da “não” presença da Educação a Distância nas políticas públicas vigentes na contemporaneidade. O recorte deste estudo compreende desde a Conferência Nacional de Educação de 2010 às Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para a formação de professores da educação básica, de 2019. Adotamos como procedimento metodológico a análise documental de textos legais e dialogamos com Dourado, Barreto, Mill e Minto para tecer considerações sobre o movimento da EaD na formação dos professores.
