Resumo: | This article deals with the full-time school that was implemented in Governador Valadares/MG where we detected high dropout and transfer rates, especially among young people. We started from this observation to elaborate a case study that tried to identify the elements responsible for the resistance of young people in relation to the full-time school. In Brazil, it is possible to see that educational politics have favored the development of full-time schools, but interviews with young people who experienced this experience in Govenador Valadares/MG revealed that they have restrictions on the movement to expand the school day. |

Nous sommes partis de ce constat pour élaborer une étude de cas qui a tenté d'identifier les éléments responsables de la résistance des jeunes par rapport à l'école à temps plein. Au Brésil, il est possible de voir que les politiques éducatives ont favorisé le développement des écoles à temps plein, mais des entretiens avec des jeunes qui ont vécu cette expérience à Govenador Valadares/MG ont révélé qu'ils ont des restrictions sur le mouvement pour étendre la journée scolaire.Este artigo trata a escola de tempo integral que foi implementada no município de Governador Valadares/MG na qual detectamos elevados índices de evasão e transferência, sobretudo entre os jovens que a frequentavam. Partimos dessa constatação para elaborar um estudo de caso que procurou identificar os elementos que concorreram para a resistência dos jovens em relação à escola de tempo integral.
