Uberlândia is a city with gigantic demographic growth, however, the listed historical heritage sites are mostly located in its central region. Based on this premise, the work seeks to value and protect places on the periphery, where the artist Leo Borges lived for most of his life. From the productions of the location drawings in graphic diaries made between 2017 and 2022, the artist intends to constitute an archive of himself, taking an autobiographical intention, bringing records and memories in the condition of Uberlandense, through the memorialist activity of drawing. Terms and methodologies were borrowed from archival science for the construction of this project. The subjects and elements that underlie the process are presented: the location design, the graphic diary, the archive, Urban Sketchers and historical heritage, in dialogues with Uberlândia. Next, the conception of the creative process of the graphic diaries (the book of the tomb and the archive-box-books) and of the archive is exposed, presenting the concerns with the historical memory of Uberlândia and the exploration of the drawings as a documental power for the creation of a personal file. It is also based on the discussion, a reflection on the book of the tombo and the box-archive books from the perspective of artist's books. The artists Ido Finotti and Geraldo Queiroz are briefly introduced, who, with their landscape paintings and their contributions to the historical memory of Uberlândia in the 20th century, were fundamental to the construction and inspiration of the project. The result of the work consists of organizing the file from three graphic diaries in different formats, with 68 drawings that represent historical heritage and important places in Uberlândia for the artist. It is expected, through drawing, to constitute an image of Uberlândia from the artist's time and to value the city in past times.
