Resumo: Este trabalho teve como objetivo geral analisar como acontece a alfabetização científica em contextos da Educação Infantil. Dessa maneira, numa abordagem qualitativa, por meio da metodologia de Estudo de Caso, investigamos atividades formativas vivenciadas em uma escola que adota a Pedagogia por Projetos. A produção de dados foi realizada no período de fevereiro a novembro de 2019 e as análises permitiram configurar algumas características importantes para o processo de alfabetização científica. Para a efetividade da alfabetização científica na Educação Infantil, é necessário considerar algumas peculiaridades e necessidades das crianças, tais como: os vínculos com o cotidiano, o desenvolvimento cognitivo e as interações entre as crianças e os objetos de aprendizagem, entre elas próprias e com os professores. A partir das características definidas, sistematizamos um conjunto de indicadores, com atributos e perspectivas que consideramos relevantes para os múltiplos contextos da Educação Infantil e à promoção da alfabetização científica.

In this way, in a qualitative approach, through the Case Study methodology, we investigate training activities experienced in a school that adopts Pedagogy by Projects. Data production was carried out from February to November 2019 and the analyzes allowed to configure some important characteristics for the scientific literacy process. For the effectiveness of scientific literacy in Early Childhood Education, it is necessary to consider some peculiarities and needs of children, such as: links with daily life, cognitive development and interactions between children and learning objects, among themselves and with teachers.
