This work aims to apply the Value Stream Mapping tool in a consumer goods industry in Uberlândia-MG, focusing on the need to identify points for improvement of the logistics process of receiving and stocking raw material and supply of production, in addition, proposes the application of tools aligned with Lean Manufacturing. Industries have increasingly sought in the market ways and work tools to help them increase their profit, thus aim at the need to achieve a lean process eliminating losses throughout the production chain adding value to the final product. Lean Manufacturing aims to achieve maximum efficiency of production of goods and services with the fewest possible amount of resources. The Warehouse under study seeks to reduce material, movement and inventory processing times to add value to your activities. The experimental methodology selected was the case study, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, of descriptive character, with practical implications. The results are based on the result of the Value Stream Mapping for proposing Lean-aligned improvement tools, aiming at continuous improvement in processes and quality of service delivered to the customer.
