Resumo: The objective of this study was to analyze and understand whether acting in social work can contribute to the development of unique attributes in Soft Skills, directly impacting the positive differentiation of these individuals in society. Through a documentary research about the selection process of the Academic Directory of Information Management - UFU, the survey of bibliographic references that surround the subject and by the triangulation of the information the research reaches its objective of analyzing and pointing out the proposed. Finally, the results converged to the initial problem, obtaining evidence that social work can develop Soft Skills in its volunteers.

Por meio de uma pesquisa documental acerca do processo seletivo do Diretório Acadêmico da Gestão da Informação – UFU, o levantamento de referencias bibliográficas que rodeiam o assunto e pela triangulação das informações a pesquisa atinge seu objetivo de analisar e apontar o proposto.
