The goal of this research is to suggest an implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) meeting the standard requirements ABNT ISO/IEC 17025:2017, for the accreditation of the Bioengineering quality control laboratory of the Clinic Hospital of Federal University of Uberlandia, with regards to the temperature, pressure and mass calibrations. An evaluation was performed in the current laboratory situation in order to know the adjustments that needed to be made to meet the standard requirements. Besides that, a bibliographical research was done in order to obtain information from other laboratories that have been accredited to develop the implementation proposal of the standard requirements of the Bioengineering quality control laboratory. Thereby, ten steps were proposed for the QMS implementation. Furthermore, a calibration certification was created in compliance to the standard requirements, a check list was also created so it can be used in internal laboratory audits. From this research it can be concluded that even though it's an expensive and tough process, the accreditation by ABNT ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is of big importance, therefore guaranteeing that the laboratory provides a good quality and efficient results.
