Resumo: With the conception of new Family models, such as Multiparenting, there was a need to ensure normative protection to individuals who wish have your affective feeling registered and recognized. Within this context, this article wiil discuss the institute entrance into the legal order, as well as it consequences, in the Family Law, as Succession Law. It was attested your recognition through fixed theses in the theme nº 622 from STF, that culminated in iguality between biological and socio-affective child, which creates the possibility to be heir in share similar to the others descendants. In addiction, it´s importante to analyze how it has been the judicial discussion in cases of recognition attempt with disagreement by others heirs.

Dentro deste contexto, este trabalho discutirá a entrada do instituto no ordenamento jurídico, bem como suas consequências, tanto no Direito das Famílias quanto no Direito das sucessões. Atestou-se o seu reconhecimento através das teses fixadas no tema nº 622 do STF, que culminou na igualdade entre filho socioafetivo e biológico, o que gera a possibilidade de ser herdeiro em quinhão semelhante aos outros descendentes em mesma linha.
