Resumo: | The present work aims to carry out an analysis of the labels of egg packages sold in the city of Barreiras-BA and to investigate the storage conditions of the product in the establishments, in order to verify if they are complying with current norms and legislation regarding storage and information. mandatory that must be inserted in its label. The work was carried out between January and March 2022 in supermarkets and grocery stores in the city of Barreiras-BA. In total, 7 brands were analyzed, being later identified from A to G. For the evaluation, a checklist-type form was prepared, by means of a survey of useful information to be used for the evaluation of the labels. Three brands presented the labels with the highest number of nonconformities regarding the criteria determined by the specific food labeling legislation. Brand F presented the highest number of irregularities, not including the presence of the SIF Stamp; expression “does not contain gluten”; class; guidelines that raw or undercooked eggs are bad; egg type; group; storage guidelines and nutritional information. Therefore, it is clear that, even with specific legislation for the labeling of eggs in Brazil, it is still recurrent to find brands being marketed that do not meet all the requirements established by the legislation. |

El trabajo se realizó entre enero y marzo de 2022 en supermercados y pulperías de la ciudad de Barreiras-BA. En total se analizaron 7 marcas, siendo posteriormente identificadas de la A a la G. Para la evaluación se elaboró ??un formulario tipo checklist, mediante un relevamiento de información útil para ser utilizada en la evaluación de las etiquetas. Tres marcas presentaron las etiquetas con mayor número de no conformidades respecto a los criterios determinados por la legislación específica de etiquetado de alimentos. La Marca F presentó el mayor número de irregularidades, sin contar la presencia del Sello SIF; expresión “no contiene gluten”; clase; pautas de que los huevos crudos o poco cocidos son malos; tipo de huevo; grupo; pautas de almacenamiento e información nutricional. Por lo tanto, es claro que, aún con legislación específica para el etiquetado de huevos en Brasil, todavía es recurrente encontrar marcas comercializadas que no cumplen con todos los requisitos establecidos por la legislación.O presente trabalho objetiva realizar a análise dos rótulos das embalagens de ovos comercializados na cidade de Barreiras-BA e averiguar as condições de armazenamento do produto nos estabelecimentos, a fim de verificar se as mesmas estão atendendo as normas e legislações vigentes quanto à estocagem e informações obrigatórias que devem estar inseridas em seu rótulo. O trabalho foi realizado entre os meses de janeiro a março de 2022 em supermercados e mercadinhos da cidade de Barreiras-BA. No total foram analisadas 7 marcas, sendo posteriormente identificadas de A à G. Para a avaliação, foi elaborado um formulário do tipo check-list, por meio de um levantamento de informações úteis a serem utilizadas para a avaliação dos rótulos. Três marcas apresentaram os rótulos com o maior número de inconformidades quanto aos critérios determinados pelas legislações específicas de rotulagem de alimentos. A marca F apresentou o maior número de irregularidades, não constando a presença do Carimbo do SIF; expressão “não contém glúten”; classe; orientações de que o ovo cru ou mal cozido faz mal; tipo do ovo; grupo; orientações de armazenamento e informações nutricionais.
