Gamification in the teaching of natural sciences: articulating the active methodology in didactic sequences in elementary school through PIBID

Resumo: This work is a case study that seeks to highlight the importance of the active gamification methodology for the teaching of natural sciences. The universe of games and digital media is very present in the lives of students who make up elementary school. In this sense, the objective of this work is to evaluate the efficiency of gamification as a teaching-learning tool. For the development of the work, an intervention process was carried out, based on qualitative research in the active methodology of gamification, with a group of scholarship holders from the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarships (PIBID), a program that aims to articulate basic education with higher education, inserting graduates in public schools located in peripheral areas. Thus, the scholarship holders used the foundations of this training to gamify three (3) didactic sequences, which previously would be applied in a conventional way. The performance of gamified didactic sequences pointed to the need to constantly intensify teaching practice with the use of active methodologies, as they ensure that teaching is a more dynamic process and the teacher/student relationship is a consequence of positivity for both parties in the result of meaningful learning.

El universo de los juegos y los medios digitales está muy presente en la vida de los alumnos que integran la escuela primaria. En este sentido, el objetivo de este trabajo es evaluar la eficacia de la gamificación como herramienta de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Para el desarrollo del trabajo se realizó un proceso de intervención, basado en un diseño cualitativo en la metodología activa de gamificación, con un grupo de becarios del Programa Institucional de Becas de Iniciación Docente (PIBID), programa que tiene como objetivo articular la educación básica con la educación superior, insertando a los egresados ??en las escuelas públicas ubicadas en áreas periféricas. Así, los becarios utilizaron los fundamentos de esta formación para gamificar tres (3) secuencias didácticas, que previamente fueron aplicadas de forma convencional. La realización de secuencias didácticas gamificadas señaló la necesidad de intensificar constantemente la práctica docente con el uso de metodologías activas, ya que aseguran que la docencia sea un proceso más dinámico y la relación profesor / alumno sea consecuencia de la positividad de ambas partes en el resultado de aprendizaje significativo.O presente trabalho completo é um estudo de caso que busca evidenciar a importância da metodologia ativa de gamificação para o ensino de ciências da natureza. O universo dos jogos e das mídias digitais é muito presente na vida dos estudantes que compõem o ensino fundamental. Neste sentido, o objetivo deste trabalho é avaliar a eficiência da gamificação como ferramenta de ensino-aprendizagem. Para o desenvolvimento do trabalho, foi realizado um processo de intervenção, embasado em delineamento qualitativo na metodologia ativa de gamificação, com um grupo de bolsistas do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID), programa que visa articular a educação básica com o ensino superior, inserindo licenciandos em escolas públicas localizadas em áreas periféricas. Sendo assim, os bolsistas utilizaram os fundamentos dessa formação para gamificar três (3) sequências didáticas, que anteriormente foram aplicadas de modo convencional.
