Resumo: Among the cities participating in the Trilhas Potiguares University Extension Program, in 2022, is Lagoa Salgada, which received the program team between July 31 and August 7, 2022. In this sense, this report of The experience analyzes the reflections built from the “lap reading” workshop, built according to the demands aimed at the area of Education, which aimed to encourage the practice of reading within schools with those responsible for the students. This experience promoted a reflection on the social role of reading and how it contributes to the initial formation of children, while allowing the trekkers to understand university extension in a non-assistance, interprofessional and interdisciplinary, in a significant importance for citizen education.

En ese sentido, este relato de La experiencia analiza las  reflexiones construidas a partir de la “Lectura de vuelta”, construido de acuerdo a las demandas enfocadas en el área de Educación, que tuvo como objetivo incentivar la práctica de la lectura dentro de las escuelas con los responsables de los alumnos. Esta experiencia promovió una reflexión sobre el rol social de la lectura y cómo contribuye a la formación inicial de los niños, al tiempo que permitió a los excursionistas comprender la extensión universitaria de manera no presencial, interprofesional e interdisciplinaria, de manera significativa educación ciudadana.Dentre os municípios participantes do Programa de Extensão Universitária Trilhas Potiguares, no ano de 2022, encontra-se o de Lagoa Salgada, que recebeu a equipe do programa entre os dias 31 de julho e 7 de agosto de 2022. Nesse sentido, este relato de experiência analisa as reflexões construídas a partir da oficina “Leitura no colo”, construída de acordo com as demandas voltadas para a área da Educação, a qual teve como objetivo fomentar a prática de leitura dentro das escolas com os responsáveis dos alunos.
