Resumo: | This article touches on the convergences and divergences between some of the ideas by the critical theorist Theodor Adorno and by decolonial thinkers. It also intends to examine how this encounter houses the concept of emancipatory education. Along the text, an overview of the central concepts by Adorno will be put into dialog with ones by decolonial thinkers, focusing on ideas of epistemology, emancipation and education. With this, we expect to understand in what Adorno corroborates decoloniality, in what the latter helps to reexamine in the works of the German philosopher and, ultimately, catch a glimpse at the project of an emancipatory education with elements from both sources. |

A lo largo del texto, se pondrá en diálogo algunos de los conceptos centrales de Adorno con algunos de los pensadores de la decolonialidad, con un enfoque principal en las ideas de epistemología, emancipación y educación. Con eso, se espera comprender qué corrobora Adorno con la decolonialidad, qué ayuda reexaminar en la obra del filósofo alemán y, finalmente, vislumbrar el proyecto de una educación emancipadora con elementos de ambas fuentes.Este artigo toca nas convergências e divergências entre algumas das ideias do teórico crítico Theodor Adorno e as de alguns pensadores decoloniais, além de examinar como esse encontro alberga o conceito de educação emancipatória. No decorrer do texto, um apanhado de conceitos centrais de Adorno será posto em diálogo com alguns dos postulados de pensadores da decolonialidade, com principal foco nas ideias de epistemologia, emancipação e educação.
