Community libraries: dialogue and collaboration with children to decolonize ourselves

Resumo: Three experiences of investigative work and educational support are presented, through community libraries that are sustained in various appropriation processes, responding to the need of girls and boys for physical and symbolic spaces for play, dialogue and reflection, about the things that matter to them. We reflected on the importance of collaborative research and from these experiences they have allowed us to deepen the practice of methodologies involved with girls and boys. In these works, processes were generated that allowed dialogues between the community and the academy in the construction of self-managed spaces.

In these works, processes were generated that allowed dialogues between the community and the academy in the construction of self-managed spaces.Se presentan tres experiencias de trabajo investigativo y acompañamiento educativo, a través de bibliotecas comunitarias que se sustentan en diversos procesos de apropiación, dando respuesta a la necesidad de las niñas y los niños de espacios físicos y simbólicos para el juego, el diálogo y la reflexión sobre las cosas que les importan. Discurrimos sobre la importancia de investigaciones colaborativas y como estas experiencias nos han permitido profundizar en la práctica de metodologías implicadas con niñas y niños. En estos trabajos, se generaron procesos que permitieron diálogos entre la comunidad y la academia en la construcción de espacios autogestivos.Apresentamos neste artigo três experiências de trabalho de pesquisa e de acompanhamento educativo a partir de bibliotecas comunitárias que se baseiam em diversos processos de apropriação, que respondem à necessidade das crianças de espaços físicos e simbólicos para a brincadeira, para o jogo, para o diálogo e para a reflexão sobre as coisas que lhes importam. Nós discutimos sobre a importância das pesquisas colaborativas, sendo que, a partir dessas experiências, tem sido possível aprofundar a prática de metodologias implicadas com crianças.
