Resumo: This paper aims to debate professorship in higher education related to the making up of professors’ knowledge who work in undergraduate studies of a public institution. The main theoretical presuppositions were: Tardif (2014), Gauthier et al. (2013), Pacheco (2019), Cunha (2010), among others. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with nine professors. As a result, it was observed that the making up of professorship´s knowledge covered the paths of the subjects' life stories and experiences during training and professional performance in higher education by experiencing set forth with peers, students, course management, studies and training.

Los principales supuestos teóricos son: Tardif (2014), Gauthier et al. (2013), Pacheco (2019), Cunha (2010), entre otros. Fueron realizadas entrevistas semiestructuradas con nueve profesores. Como resultado, se observó que la constitución del conocimiento docente siguió los caminos de las historias de vida y de las experiencias de los sujetos durante la formación y rendimiento profesional en la educación superior, en experiencias con pares, estudiantes, gestión del curso, estudios y formaciones.O artigo analisa a docência no ensino superior e objetiva compreender a constituição dos saberes de professores que trabalham em um curso de bacharelado de uma instituição pública. Teve como principais pressupostos teóricos: Tardif (2014), Gauthier et al. (2013), Pacheco (2019), Cunha (2010), dentre outros. Realizaram-se entrevistas semiestruturadas com nove professores.
