Resumo: In this essay dissimilar myths about United States - Cuba conflict that have been build over time as part of the media campaigns of manipulation of Cuban history and reality, directed primarily from the centers of power of the imperialism are deconstruct. In this way, the author goes from the origin of the conflict and the impact of the revolucionary process on its evolution within the context of the Cold War to the role played by the different historical subjects, going through some of the most critical moments, such as the October Crisis (known in other latitudes as Missile Crisis or Caribbean Crisis)

De esta manera, el autor va desde el origen del conflicto y el impacto del proceso revolucionario en su evolución dentro del contexto de la Guerra Fría hasta el papel que han desempeñado los distintos sujetos históricos, pasando por algunos de los momentos más críticos, como la Crisis de Octubre (conocida en otras latitudes como Crisis de los Misiles o Crisis del Caribe)Neste ensaio se desmontam mitos dissimiles sobre o conflito Estados Unidos-Cuba que foram tecidos ao longo do tempo como parte das campanha midiáticas de manipulação da história e da realidade cubana, originadas fundamentalmente dos centros de poder do imperialismo.
