Becoming Teacher: The Constitution of the Professional Knowledge of Tuparí Indigenous Teachers

Resumo: This study aims to give voice to indigenous teachers, stimulating thir reflection about the construction of their knowledge in their teaching practice. It is analyzed how and when the knowledge is constructed, observing the didactic organization in multi-serials classes, the didactic materials used, and the teaching of the indigenous languages. The results of the analysis show that in the reflections made by indigenous teachers on the issues at hand there is an appreciation of their academic formation, although they highlight the importance of their experience as students and teachers, as well as their social life in their respective communities.

Analisa-se como e quando esses saberes são construidos, observando-se a organização didática em classes multisseriadas, os materiais didáticos utilizados e o ensino das línguas indígenas.
