Resumo: Echoes of the North American Ford Motor Company ventures in Belterra-PA and Fordlândia-PA are the main elements of study and analysis, which sought to question the colonizing development in the Tapajós River region, Pará. The construction of the investigation proposed started from the field experience, bibliographic and poetic research that had resulted in audiovisual artwork called “Bela Terra”. In it shows the fragments of Brazilian history and the position in a global context of exploration based on visual and symbolic representations that have been impacting the formation of the cultural identity of people living in the Amazon.
