A tese levantada aqui, portanto, é a de que este Rebelde Apaixonado é, de acordo com um conceito de Gilbert Durand, uma “constelação mitológica”, que está inegavelmente imbricada com a história da América Latina, desde as independências do século XIX até os dias de hoje, tendo seus momentos de maior ou menor efervescência. Esta constelação de figuras históricas, que possuem um mesmo espírito ou ideal, está sob o domínio de um mesmo tema, a saber, a rebeldia. Como não havia condições de analisar este fenômeno político vinculado ao imaginário coletivo de forma geral, devido às limitações próprias do presente trabalho, a opção, então, foi fazer um estudo de caso. Para tanto, é analisado o roteiro da peça Túpac Amaru do dramaturgo argentino Osvaldo Dragún, traduzida por Fernando Peixoto e publicada no formato de um pequeno livro, pela editora Hucitec em 1980. Além disso, foram utilizados os processos de censura da Divisão de Censura de Diversões Públicas (DCDP) que proibiram a peça de ser encena em 1977. Desta maneira para se atingir o objetivo proposto foram elaborados três capítulos que conversam com os atos da peça de Osvaldo Dragún, e com os processos da DCDP. São eles: O Inca Rebelde: onde Túpac é descrito como aquele que contesta a ordem, e se rebela contra o regime opressor; O Mártir Imortal: destaca-se o processo em que ele é capturado, e mesmo vencido se torna um mártir de uma ideia imortal; e por fim, O Guerrilheiro Subversivo: onde a figura de Túpac Amaru é percebida de maneira muito semelhante com a dos guerrilheiros “subversivos” contemporâneos às censoras. Ainda há muito a ser estudo, e esta monografia não deseja ser de forma alguma um estudo conclusivo, mas sim um convite para novas perspectivas. No entanto, o que é possível apreender foi que este fenômeno do Rebelde Apaixonado está vinculado ao imaginário coletivo e manifesta-se por meio de um mito político que está inegavelmente imbricado com a história da América Latina. The thesis built here, therefore, is that this Passionate Rebel is, according to Gilbert Durand's concept, a “mythological constellation” that is undeniably intertwined with the history of Latin America from the nineteenth century independence to the today, having their moments of greater or less effervescence. This constellation of historical figures having the same spirit or ideal is under the same theme, namely rebellion. As we were unable to analyze this political phenomenon linked to the collective imagination in general, due to the limitations of the present work, the option was to make a case study. We had an extremely wide view of the phenomenon, and we chose a single figure to exemplify its logic, context, and manifestation. Therefore, we analyzed the script of the play Túpac Amaru by Argentine playwright Osvaldo Dragún, translated by Fernando Peixoto and published in the form of a small book, by the publisher Hucitec in 1980. In addition, we used the censorship processes of the Public Diversity Censorship Division (PDCD) that banned the play from being staged in 1977 to glimpse how the figure of Túpac Amaru manifested itself in the collective imagination. Thus, in order to achieve the proposed objective, three chapters were elaborated that talk with the acts of Osvaldo Dragún's play, and with the PDCD processes. They are: The Rebel Inca: where Túpac is described as the one who challenges the order, and rebels against the oppressive regime; The Immortal Martyr: The process in which he is captured, and even defeated, becomes a martyr for an immortal idea; and finally, The Subversive Guerrilla: where the figure of Túpac Amaru is perceived very similarly to that of the "subversive" guerrillas contemporary to the censors. Much remains to be studied, and this monograph is by no means a conclusive study, but an invitation to new perspectives. However, what is possible to apprehend was that this phenomenon of the Passionate Rebel is linked to the collective imagination and manifests itself through a political myth that is undeniably intertwined with the history of Latin America.
