Tal inimputabilidade dos jovens é uma garantia e um direito conquistado após vários anos renegado. Hoje jovens e adolescentes conquistaram a proteção legal integral, na esfera penal brasileira. Essa proteção é expressa através da inimputabilidade dos menores de 18 anos. Muitos legisladores mostram-se contrários à inimputabilidade penal a menores de 18 anos, por considerarem um fator que eleva a criminalidade e gera impunidade, destacada através da mídia. A maioria dos países consideram 18 anos a idade ideal para inimputabilidade penal, considerando a Convenção sobre os Direitos das Crianças, da ONU, que estabelece os 18 anos como marco. Such unaccountability of young people is a guarantee and a right won after several years renegades. Today, young people and adolescents gained full legal protection, in the Brazilian criminal cases this protection is expressed through the unimputability of children under 18 years. Many lawmakers are shown against the criminal unimputability to persons under 18 years, consider a factor that elevates the crime and generates impunity, highlighted through the media. Most countries consider 18 years the ideal age for criminal unimputability, considering the Convention on the Rights of the UN Children establishing 18 as March.
