This paper aims at discussing the relevance of a collaborative work for initial and continuing language teacher education, comprehending the educational formative actions from the course Estágio Supervisionado em Línguas como espaço colaborativo de formação inicial e continuada de professores, developed in 2019 at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). One of the results of these actions was the setting up of a Collaborative Language Teacher Education Network (CLTEN) among educators from UFPR and basic education teachers. This text is based on linguistic education perspectives (CAVALCANTI, 2006; SCHLATTER, 2013), which contemplate the collaborative work through practices such as co-teaching and coaching (CUNHA, 2016, NOGUEIRA, 2011). In conclusion, the paper accounts for reflections on the limits and the potentialities of the course experiences, as well as the relevance of collaborative practices in language teacher education.
