Resumo: In education, self-regulation involves different aspects of monitoring, volition and actions aimed at achieving goals. The study intended to verify the reliability and validity of an instrument of self-regulation of learning for students of higher education, and to identify how it relates to academic performance. 516 students from Federal Institutes of Brazil participated and answered an online questionnaire. The questionnaire revealed adequate levels of psychometric adjustment and self-regulation explains students' academic performance.

Lo objetivo es verificar la confiabilidad y validez de un instrumento de autorregulación del aprendizaje para estudiantes de educación superior y identificar cómo se relaciona con el rendimiento académico. 516 estudiantes de los Institutos Federales de Brasil participaron y respondieron un cuestionario en línea. El cuestionario reveló niveles adecuados de ajuste psicométrico y la autorregulación explica el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes.Dans l'éducation, l'autorégulation implique différents aspects du suivi, de la volonté et des actions visant à atteindre les objectifs. L'étude vise à vérifier la fiabilité et la validité d'un instrument d'autorégulation de l'apprentissage pour les étudiants de l'enseignement supérieur et à identifier son lien avec les résultats scolaires. 516 étudiants des Instituts fédéraux du Brésil ont participé et répondu à un questionnaire en ligne. Le questionnaire a révélé des niveaux adéquats d'ajustement psychométrique et d'autorégulation explique de manière significative les résultats scolaires des élèves.Na educação, a autorregulação envolve diferentes aspectos de monitorização, volição e ações direcionadas à realização de objetivos. Pretende-se verificar a fiabilidade e a validade de um instrumento de autorregulação da aprendizagem para estudantes do ensino superior e identificar como esta se relaciona com o desempenho acadêmico. Participaram 516 estudantes de Institutos Federais do Brasil que responderam a um questionário on-line.
