Resumo: The aim was to understand the experiences of five female health courses professors at public institutions of higher education during covid-19 pandemic. The phenomenological analysis pointed out: recognition of limitations in health care system; rearrangement of time dedicated to virtual work; readjustment in the routine of reconciling personal, family and professional life; change in the dynamics of family relationships; suffering in perceiving knowledge limitations; missing face-to-face spaces; presenteeism and seeking unprofessional help. It was concluded an urgent need for preventive and health-promoting policies for professors during and after the pandemic.

El análisis fenomenológico señaló: reconocimiento de las limitaciones en la salud; reajuste en el tiempo de trabajo virtual; reajuste en la conciliación de vida personal, familiar y profesional; cambio en la dinámica de relaciones familiares; sufrimiento al notar límites de conocimiento; anhelo de espacios presenciales; presentismo y búsqueda de ayuda no profesional. Se concluye la urgencia de políticas preventivas y promotoras de la salud para los docentes durante y después de la pandemia.Objetivou-se compreender experiências de cinco mulheres docentes de cursos de saúde de instituições públicas de ensino superior durante o distanciamento social ocasionado pela pandemia da covid-19. Análise fenomenológica apontou: reconhecimento de limitações na saúde; rearranjo no tempo dedicado ao trabalho virtual; readequação na rotina de conciliar vida pessoal, familiar e profissional; mudança na dinâmica das relações familiares; sofrimento em perceber limitações de conhecimentos; saudade de espaços presenciais; presenteísmo e busca por ajuda não profissional.
