Distance learning literature based on Paulo Freire: a critical approach?

Resumo: | This article shows some findings of an exploratory research that investigated how the pedagogy developed by Paulo Freire has been incorporated into articles on distance learning, examining its adherence to critical works. A content analysis was carried out in the sample based on questions established a priori. In the set of findings, the analysis suggests that the studies were developed only partially under a critical approach. One of the reasons why Paulo Freire would be present in the discussions would be related to the fact that his work offers references to discuss some very important issues to the modality of distance learning, so that it can be developed in a problematizing way. |

Se realizó un análisis de contenido de la muestra en base a preguntas definidas a priori. Entre los hallazgos, el análisis sugiere que los trabajos solo se desarrollaron parcialmente desde un enfoque crítico. Una de las razones por las que Paulo Freire está presente en estas discusiones se debe a que su trabajo ofrece referencias para discutir temas importantes en la modalidad a distancia, para que se pueda desarrollar de forma problematizadora.Este artigo apresenta achados de uma pesquisa exploratória que analisou como a pedagogia desenvolvida por Paulo Freire vem sendo incorporada em artigos sobre educação a distância, examinando sua aderência a trabalhos críticos. Foi realizada uma análise de conteúdo na amostra a partir de questões definidas a priori. Entre os achados, a análise sugere que, apenas parcialmente, os trabalhos foram desenvolvidos sob uma abordagem crítica.
