Drug education in Brazil in light of the new legal order

Resumo: The current Brazilian political scenario is marked by government regulation of prohibitionist educational practices on drugs that do not stimulate critical thinking. This article traces dialogues between five oficial brasilians documents, analyzing legal limitations and perspectives of Drug education in Brazil in light of the new legal order. It is a documental, qualitative research that problematizes guidelines for preventive-educational practices on drugs in the context of education. We observe a growing decline in spaces for debate and negotiation, with drug-centric and bellicose orientations, little used to debate, contexts, people and their vulnerabilities.

Este artículo traza diálogos entre cinco documentos oficiales, analizando las limitaciones legales y perspectivas de la Educación sobre Drogas en Brasil, frente al nuevo orden jurídico. Trata de una investigación cualitativa, documental, que problematiza orientaciones para las prácticas preventivo-educativas en el contexto de la educación. Observamos una disminución creciente de los espacios de debate y negociación, con orientaciones drogocéntricas y belicosas, poco habituados al debate, los contextos, las personas y sus vulnerabilidades.O atual cenário político brasileiro é marcado por regulação governamental às práticas educativas sobre drogas, de orientação proibicionista, que pouco estimulam o pensamento crítico. Este artigo traça interlocuções entre cinco documentos oficiais brasileiros, para analisar limitações legais e perspectivas da Educação sobre Drogas no Brasil à luz do novo ordenamento legal. É uma pesquisa documental, qualitativa, que problematiza orientações às práticas preventivo-educativas às drogas no âmbito da educação.
