Some considerations on health and inclusion for university students’ quality of life

Resumo: This descriptive and exploratory research included 22 university students from the Health Sciences Center of the Federal University of Santa Maria. With an online questionnaire, it investigated the concepts of health, inclusion and quality of life and was analyzed from the perspective of Bardin’s Content Analysis. As a result, it was verified that health and inclusion were perceived in a broad way, health encompassing physical, psychological, environmental, relational and social factors; and inclusion of all people who feel displaced or inadequate in an environment or reality. It was concluded that health and inclusion are interrelated and can determine a higher or lower quality of life for university students.

Con un cuestionario en línea, investigó sobre los conceptos de salud, inclusión y calidad de vida y fue analizada desde la perspectiva del Análisis de Contenido de Bardin. Como resultado, se verificó que salud e inclusión fueron percibidas de manera amplia, salud englobando factores físicos, psicológicos, ambientales, relacionales y sociales; e inclusión, toda persona que se sienta desplazada o inadecuada en un ambiente o realidad. Se concluyó que la salud y la inclusión se interrelacionan y pueden determinar una mayor o menor calidad de vida para los universitarios.Esta pesquisa descritiva e exploratória teve como amostra 22 universitários do Centro de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Com um questionário online, investigou sobre os conceitos de saúde, inclusão e qualidade de vida e foi analisada pela perspectiva da Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin. Como resultado, verificou-se que saúde e inclusão foram percebidas de maneira ampla, saúde englobando fatores físicos, psicológicos, ambientais, relacionais e sociais; e inclusão, toda pessoa que se sinta deslocada ou inadequada num ambiente ou realidade.
