Resumo: This article discusses how the concept of text genre appears in some of the stages of the PNLD 2010 actions and how some books indicated by the Guide of textbooks propose activities with text genre to explore mathematical contents. Documents involved in the PNLD selection process and two textbooks of an approved collection were analyzed under a theoretical framework based on Marcuschi and Chartier. Distortions concerning the notions of text genre and type can be seen in the Guide’s reviews. As for the books, few of them present activities that explore texts in their general constitutive aspects. Moreover, the proposed activities have little to do with the mathematical content presented in the texts.

Moreover, the proposed activities have little to do with the mathematical content presented in the texts.En este artículo analizo cómo el concepto de género textual se utilizó en el conjunto de acciones del Plan Nacional del Libro Didáctico PNLD 2010 y como algunos libros proporcionado por el guía del libro didáctico propone actividades con los géneros de texto para explorar el contenido matemático. Se analizaron los documentos relacionados con el proceso de selección y dos libros texto de una colección aprobados. Sirvió de base teórica para este análisis Marcuschi y Chartier. Se puede observar en las críticas que componen el Guía distorsiones en cuanto a la noción de género y tipo de texto. Con relación a libros, poco tienen de actividades que exploren el texto en sus aspectos constitutivos generales y las actividades propuestas poco tienen que ver con el contenidos matemáticos presente en los textos.Neste artigo discuto como o conceito de gênero e tipo de texto foi utilizado no conjunto de ações do PNLD 2010 e quais os reflexos desse processo para os livros de Matemática e Alfabetização Matemática. Foram analisados documentos referentes a esse processo de seleção e dois livros didáticos de uma coleção aprovada. Serviu de base teórica a esta análise Marcuschi e Chartier. É possível perceber nas resenhas que compõem o Guia distorções quanto à noção de gênero e tipo de texto.
