The importance of Archivology and Diplomacy in the process of creating the Digital Diploma at the Federal University of Paraíba

Resumo: In order to present the importance of Archivology and Diplomatics in the process of creating the Digital Diploma at the Federal University of Paraíba, the study highlights the Digital Diploma implemented by the Ministry of Education since 2019, but with mandatory issuance by Higher Education Institutions, from the year 2022. This is a bibliographic, documentary and descriptive research, with a qualitative approach. In the presentation and discussion of the results, the characteristics of archival documents were addressed, especially with regard to authenticity, entering the main requirements of the Ministry of Education, for the issuance of the Digital Diploma. Therefore, it was possible to understand that Archivology and Diplomacy are fundamental to assess the authenticity of the Digital Diploma issued by UFPB.

Therefore, it was possible to understand that Archivology and Diplomacy are fundamental to assess the authenticity of the Digital Diploma issued by UFPB.  Con el objetivo de presentar la importancia de la Archivología y de la Diplomática en el proceso de creación del Diploma Digital en la Universidad Federal de Paraíba, el estudio destaca el Diploma Digital implementado por el Ministerio de Educación desde 2019, pero con emisión obligatoria por las Instituciones de Enseñanza Superior, a partir del año 2022. Se trata de una investigación bibliográfica, documental y descriptiva, con enfoque cualitativo. En la presentación y discusión de los resultados, se abordaron las características de los documentos de archivo, especialmente en lo que se refiere a la autenticidad, entrando en las principales exigencias del Ministerio de Educación, para la expedición del Diploma Digital. Por lo tanto, fue posible comprender que la Archivología y la Diplomática son fundamentales para evaluar la autenticidad del Diploma Digital emitido por la UFPB.  Com o objetivo de apresentar a importância da Arquivologia e da Diplomática no processo de criação do Diploma Digital na Universidade Federal da Paraíba, o estudo evidencia o Diploma Digital implantado pelo Ministério da Educação desde 2019, porém com obrigatoriedade de emissão pelas Instituições de Educação Superior a partir do ano de 2022. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e descritiva, com abordagem qualitativa. Na apresentação e discussão dos resultados, foram abordadas as características dos documentos arquivísticos, sobretudo, no que concerne a autenticidade, adentrando-se as principais exigências do Ministério da Educação, para a emissão do Diploma Digital.
