Perspectives of an archival literacy: reflections on the archive, mediation and the user

Resumo: It presents the concepts of information literacy and literacy and explores the notion of archival literacy. Contextualizes the archive-user relationship from archival mediation, heritage education and archival education. It establishes the differences between the notion of archival literacy and the concept of heritage education. Exploratory article, in which systematic bibliographic research, carried out in databases, served as a foundation for the design of the state of the art around the notion of archival literacy. The results point to an emerging notion of archival literacy, not yet widely explored in Portuguese language, as evidenced by the results of the bibliographic research. It highlights some reflections and perspectives of archival literacy for archives.

Artículo exploratorio, en que la investigación bibliográfica sistemática, realizada en bases de datos, sirvió de base para el delineamiento del estado del arte en torno a la noción de alfabetización archivística. Los resultados apuntan a una noción emergente de alfabetización de archivo, no muy explorada en idioma portugués, como se evidencia a partir de los resultados de la búsqueda en la literatura. Destaca algunas reflexiones y perspectivas de alfabetización archivística para los archivos y las instituciones archivísticas.Apresenta os conceitos de literacia e literacia da informação e explora a noção de literacia arquivística. Contextualiza a relação arquivo-usuário a partir da mediação arquivística, educação patrimonial e educação em arquivos. Estabelece as diferenças entre a noção de literacia arquivística e o conceito de educação patrimonial. Artigo exploratório, em que a pesquisa bibliográfica sistemática, realizada em bases de dados, serviu de alicerce para o delineamento do estado da arte em torno da noção de literacia arquivística. Os resultados apontam para uma noção emergente de literacia arquivística, ainda não muito explorada em língua portuguesa, conforme evidenciado a partir dos resultados da pesquisa bibliográfica.
