Resumo: Faced with the of paradigm anthropocentric culture, it is proposed the deconstruction of the colonialist imaginary through the post-development model of Good Living. The aim was to analyze indicators of Good Living present in Afro-Limonense community practices in Costa Rica from a decolonial perspective. Methodologically, bibliographical, and descriptive research was used from 2020 to 2022. The results showed that in addition to the Ubuntu philosophy of black African peoples, indicators of Good Living are present in Afro-Limon practices, essential for well-being and community leadership. More than a form of resistance, it supports the maintenance of cultural identity and ancestral knowledge. Keywords: Good living; Post-development; Decolonization; Afro descendants.

El objetivo fue analizar indicadores del Buen Vivir presentes en las prácticas comunitarias afrolimonenses en Costa Rica desde una perspectiva descolonial. Metodológicamente se utilizó investigación bibliográfica y descriptiva entre 2020 y 2022. Los resultados demostraron que además de la filosofía Ubuntu de los negros-africanos, indicadores del Buen Vivir están presentes en las prácticas afrolimonenses, esenciales para el bienestar y el protagonismo comunitario. Más que una forma de resistencia contribuye al mantenimiento de la identidad cultural y los conocimientos ancestrales. Palabras clave: Buen vivir; Postdesarrollo; Descolonización; Afrodescendientes.Diante do paradigma da cultura antropocêntrica, propõe-se a desconstrução do imaginário colonialista por meio do modelo pós-desenvolvimentista do Bem Viver. O objetivo foi analisar indicadores de Bem Viver presentes nas práticas comunitárias afrolimonenses da Costa Rica desde a perspectiva decolonial. Metodologicamente utilizou-se pesquisa bibliográfica e descritiva no recorte 2020 a 2022. Os resultados demonstraram que além da filosofia Ubuntu dos povos negro-africanos, indicadores do Bem Viver estão presentes nas práticas afrolimonenses, essencial para o bem-estar e protagonismo comunitário. Mais que uma forma de resistência, corrobora para manutenção da identidade cultural e saberes ancestrais.
