The triad of language, cognition and emotion as elements that enhance learning

Resumo: Understanding the subjective phenomena of the teaching and learning process is an important element of discussion in pedagogical research today. Among these phenomena, language, cognitive processes and emotion represent important didactic factors for planning and conducting teaching activities. Therefore, this article aims to reflect on the linguistic processes associated with the cognitive and emotional manifestation of the learning subject. To this end, a narrative bibliographic study was carried out, bringing together works published in the last two decades, allowing to measure the impacts of these elements on learning, at the same time their conceptual evolution through the reflection of results and current trends in research in education. The main repositories of open access academic works in Brazil were consulted (Portal CAPES, Scielo and Oasisbr) as well as specialized journals, through specific search descriptors, allowing to deepen the discussions and reflections proposed in this research. Thus, considering the theoretical issues, the propositions and the bibliographic basis, we verified that the linguistic domain, in its several possibilities on the part of the teacher, at the same time the understanding and strategic stimulus of the cognitive phenomena, allied to the manifestations of emotion, allow greater efficiency in teaching practice, reverberating teaching in its humanized and student-centered form.

Dentre estes fenômenos, a linguagem, os processos cognitivos e a emoção representam importantes fatores didáticos para o planejamento e condução de atividades de ensino. Sendo assim, este artigo tem por objetivo refletir sobre os processos linguísticos, associados à manifestação cognitiva e emocional do sujeito aprendente. Para tal, foi realizado um estudo bibliográfico narrativo reunindo trabalhos publicados nas últimas duas décadas permitindo dimensionar os impactos destes elementos na aprendizagem, ao mesmo tempo a evolução conceitual destes através da reflexão de resultados e tendências atuais na pesquisa em educação. Foram consultados os principais repositórios de trabalhos acadêmicos de acesso livre no Brasil (Portal CAPES, Scielo e Oasisbr) como também periódicos especializados, por meio de descritores de busca específicos, permitindo adensar as discussões e reflexões propostas nesta pesquisa.
