Resumo: This article aims to present reflections on the contributions to education of Pierre Bourdieu’s Sociological Theory, understood as a field of struggle and combat; we will discuss, in particular, the concepts of field and habitus, which allow us to apprehend the engendering that permeates the social world, and the school, as a field where there is no neutrality.
