Heritage education: the current development of the Freinet pedagogy in didatics of educational actions in museums

Resumo: | This text intends to approach the french educator Célestin Freinet’s pedagogy to heritage education from a museum’s concrete research experience. As the researched museum is configured as an ethnic-racial discrimination combat instrument, the problem-question established was: does the educational action of the researched museum actually combats ethnic-racial discrimination by the use of heritage education? Supported by authors that shape the concept of heritage education and by the relation between school learning and daily life present at Freinet’s pedagogy, it was concluded that the educational action of the referred museum does not develop the practice of heritage education during schools scheduled groups’ visits, which is a prejudice for the accomplishment of this museum’s proposal, that is of transforming african and afrodescendants discrimination into an acknowledgement of their importance in Brazil’s history, actively participating for the construction of the Brazilian culture. |

Una vez que el museo investigado se configura como un instrumento de lucha contra la discriminación étnica y racial, la cuestión-problema establecida fue la siguiente: la acción educativa del museo investigado lucha contra la iscriminación étnica y racial a través de la práctica de la educación patrimonial?Basándose en autores que discuten lo que viene a ser la educación patrimonial y en la relación entre el aprendizaje escolar y la vida cotidiana presente en la pedagogía Freinet, se encontró que dicha acción educativa del referido museo no desarrolla la práctica de la educación patrimonial en sus visitas con grupos programados de las escuelas, lo que dificulta la aplicación de la propuesta del museo, que es transformar la discriminación contra los africanos y afrodescendientes en el reconocimiento de la importancia que tuvo en la historia del Brasil, participando activamente en la construcción de la cultura brasileña.Este texto busca aproximar a pedagogia do educador francês Célestin Freinet da educação patrimonial a partir de uma experiência concreta de pesquisa em um museu. Uma vez que o museu pesquisado se configura como um instrumento de combate à discriminação étnico-racial, a questão-problema que se estabeleceu foi a seguinte: a ação educativa do museu analisado combate a discriminação étnico-racial por meio da prática da educação patrimonial?
