Resumo: | The objective of this study is to analise a pedagogical experience with Physical Education students. It started out from a sociocultural frame of reference and a qualitative discussion. Within the pedagogical experience, reflections on Physical Education classes at school, and on virtual communities on internet (“I hate PE” and “I love PE”) were conducted. Traditionally, the Physical Education classes have been guided by an exclusively biological view of the body, which brings up implications for the subjects' access to knowledge on bodily culture. The differences between the students are not perceived by the teacher, which contributes to place them on the margins of the class, and, consequently, they do not develop autonomy to enjoy the bodily culture. This study resulted in a discussion on the virtual communities on the internet as a means for questioning the Physical Education classes at school, and for reviewing concepts and values. |
