From Blanka to Bart Simpson: Images of Brazil in times of globalization

Resumo: It is intended, in this article, to discuss images of Brazil presented in the game Street Fighter II and in the series Simpsons, respectively, through the characters analysis Blanka and Bart Simpson. With such a proposal, we still looked for to demystify the use of videogames and cartoons as a History source and to discuss problems of the globalization that interferes in the duel among the representations of nation versus the globalized world.
