USES OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE EDUCATION OF DEAF STUDENTS

Resumo: This article presents the result of a literature review of the main digital information and communication technologies used in the education of deaf students in Brazil. The research had a qualitative approach and used methods of bibliographic and documentary analysis to collect data from various sources, such as books, journals, laws, and websites. The results indicate that educational technologies and digital resources are effective as educational support for deaf individuals, as they enable interaction, development, and learning. Additionally, it was observed that sign language translation technologies, educational games, animations, and eBooks are the most commonly used and successful for the education of deaf students. Therefore, it is concluded that the use of educational technologies can be an important strategy to improve the teaching and learning process for deaf students.

A pesquisa teve uma abordagem qualitativa e utilizou métodos de análise bibliográfica e documental para coletar dados de fontes diversas, como livros, revistas, leis e sites. Os resultados indicam que as tecnologias educacionais e recursos digitais são eficazes como suporte educacional para a pessoa surda, pois possibilitam a interação, desenvolvimento e aprendizado. Além disso, foi observado que as tecnologias de tradução de língua de sinais, jogos educativos, animações e eBooks são as mais utilizadas e bem-sucedidas para a educação de alunos surdos.
