Resumo: This article aims to present the results of a research on the contributions of the work of the Special Educational Development Support Agent (AADEE) towards the inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities in municipal public education in the city of Recife-PE . As part of the methodological course, professionals who work as AADEE were interviewed. The analysis presents evidence of a transformative inclusion, but it lacks a set of collective practices so that the right to education of students with intellectual disabilities becomes effective.

Como parte do percurso metodológico, foram entrevistados profissionais que atuam como AADEE.
